Tim Eads

My work blocks obvious paths, illuminates the unused and unusual left over spaces and highlights hidden architectural elements in the installation space. I use color fields, graphical interjections of three-dimensional line drawings into viewers space to create new paths and unexpected barriers that enliven spaces previously taken for granted. Elements of interactivity are often dispersed throughout my work to challenge common notions of art. I also enjoy adding a bit of humor and absurdity so as to question the seriousness of the work.
